We hope you are enjoying the conference education programming at ATD22. Did you know the process for recruiting and securing speakers and planning session topics starts about 10 months in advance through an open request for proposals (RFP)?
The Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group of industry leaders who volunteer to review and vet the proposal submissions. Their work helps shape the final programming that is delivered at the annual conference and EXPO. ATD has certain requirements and guidelines that help that process.
If you think you may want to speak at ATD 2023 International Conference & EXPO and would like to learn more about the process and what’s expected and hear about some best practices, ATD will be hosting a session Wednesday from 8-9 a.m. in W311. Hear from PAC members who have not only been speakers at an ATD International Conference & EXPO but have reviewed submissions. Bring questions you may have—there will be a Q&A portion of the session.
If you can’t attend this session and would like to be notified when the 2023 RFP goes live, reach out to [email protected] to be added to the notification list. Explore additional resources and helpful guidelines at td.org/events/speaking-opportunities. The 2023 RFP will be open in early July 2022 and remain open through early August 2022.
