Each year, ATD honors outstanding individuals and organizations for their commitment to talent development. Monday evening, ATD presented awards to Jack and Patti Phillips, ROI Institute, with the Thought Leader Award; Daniel Goleman, author, psychologist, and science journalist, with the Champion Award; Thomas Kramer, University of Texas at Tyler, with the Dissertation Award; Katja Zurcher, Abrigo, with the One to Watch Award; and Bob Clark, AutoNation, with the Outstanding Professional Award.
ATD recognized Cisco Systems as the Innovation Award and Talent Development for Good Award winner. The association also honored 32 Excellence in Practice Award-winning companies and 72 BEST Award-winning organizations, including eight Best of the BEST, which are companies that have won a BEST Award 10 or more times.
The Best Practices issue of TD magazine highlights all of this year’s winners. Articles will be available in the ATD Publications App (td.org/pubsapp) and online on June 15 and printed this summer. Find a complete list of winners now at td.org/awards.
