Are You Signed Up for Super Sessions?

ATD21 has been reimagined from prior years to enable attendees to participate both in person and virtually. And we want as many attendees as possible to be able to take part in the various learning opportunities. One way to do that is via Super Sessions.

We have broken our spacious main stage into three separate stages to feature headline speakers, with sound from the presentations amplified into attendees’ headsets. Think of it like a silent disco. When you enter, you will receive an individual packaged pair of headsets—or you can bring your own headphones with a 3.5 mm jack if you like. (Note, however, that the system does not support Bluetooth-enabled headsets.) Then you will go to the seating section of your reserved session and tune your headset into the channel for that speaker. All 45 Super Sessions will also be streamed live and recorded, so all attendees, regardless of location, will have the opportunity to listen to them.

Further, learners can use the chat function in the conference platform to submit questions for real-time answers from speakers. Moreover, in some sessions, participants will have the opportunity to weigh in on session polls and download resources.

Some of this year’s industry-leading Super Session speakers include Kenneth Nowack of Envisia Learning, Brandon Carson of Walmart, and Karl Kapp of Bloomsburg University. On Sunday morning Nowack will discuss the building blocks that make up psychologically safe and high-performing teams. In his Tuesday morning session, Carson will cover the core capabilities talent development teams need to successfully implement digital learning strategies. And Tuesday afternoon, Kapp will teach attendees how to evaluate learning transfer using digital card games. Explore all the Super Session speakers and topics in the conference platform, and remember to reserve your seat by adding the sessions to your agenda.
