The ASTD Forum is a consortium for senior training and development practitioners and their organizations to connect and collaborate in a confidential environment. Member organizations share proven solutions to rapidly improve organizational capability in an experiential environment.
During the ASTD 2014 International Conference & Exposition, the Forum will host four sessions that are open to conference attendees, but are especially geared towards senior learning leaders. The Forum’s sessions are not your typical conference sessions; instead they foster a lab environment. Participants will work with new tools and methodologies, influenced by human-centered design methods, to collaboratively explore various topics that are relevant in the learning profession. More information about the lab format is available here.
The following four Forum sessions take place in room 101:
Monday
· Selling Learning’s Value Proposition With Whiteboarding
· Building a Culture That Supports Learning Innovation in Your Organization
Tuesday
· Onboarding Practices That Get Results!
· Creating a Global Mindset as a Leadership Competency.
Join more than 9,000 of your learning colleagues from around the globe in Washington, D.C., May 4–7, 2014, to share best practices and insights at the ASTD 2014 International Conference & Exposition.
