Adding a tenth unit to its web-based communities of practice, ASTD has launched the Workforce Development Community of Practice where managers and trainers can learn how to collaborate to create a more engaged and productive workforce.

This new community helps promote the role of trainers to managers, advocating for their essential role within the organization, and helps managers grow their own influence and skill in developing and engaging employees and improving staff productivity.
