For years, you’ve trusted ATD to develop your team with exceptional content, leading education programs, and the industry’s best conferences, including the annual ATD International Conference and Exposition. You’ve sent your people to this premier event that gathers more than 9,500 professionals from 80+ countries. You’ve been confident that your direct reports will soak up trends and best practices through multiple learning tracks, discover new tools and solutions on the expansive EXPO floor, and exchange innovative ideas with peers during the many networking activities.
But perhaps you’ve felt left out or overlooked? You may have opted not to attend the annual conference in the past, assuming it’s a better destination for your team’s professional development, rather than for someone like you—a senior TD leader.
This year, ATD23 is the place to grow your skills and elevate your career. For the first time, ATD has created a unique conference experience, especially for those leading the profession.
The ATD23 Talent Development Leader Program boasts a curated list of concurrent sessions, targeted networking opportunities, and exclusive events designed specifically with you in mind. Learn more below about the valuable insights and meaningful connections you’ll gain through the various components of this program.
With more than 300 concurrent sessions in 13 learning tracks, it can be overwhelming for TD leaders to find the right education options at ATD23. This year, we’ve winnowed down the full program to include only those sessions designed for the profession’s decision makers and executives. Check out the short and targeted list of concurrent sessions designed for TD leaders, organized by day and time.
The ATD Forum is a consortium for senior talent development practitioners and their organizations to connect and collaborate in a confidential environment. Member organizations share proven, evidence-based ideas to rapidly improve organizational capabilities. At ATD23, the Forum hosts interactive sessions that provide hands-on practice using a specific tool or technique to address a talent development challenge. Sessions are capped at 60 participants; attendees should arrive early.
Talent development leaders can meet like-minded peers in Room 9 of the San Diego Convention Center. Discuss best practices and common challenges while enjoying coffee or tea in a quiet setting. Meanwhile, check out the five networking sessions hosted in this space; industry thought leaders will facilitate conversations on hot topics in talent development and the future of work. Sessions are capped at 60 participants; attendees should arrive early.
In addition to the above open-access options, the talent development leader experience includes several invitation-only activities like the TD Leader Lunch and Learn sponsored by CCL, the ATD Forum and TD Leader Reception sponsored by Tier1 Performance, and CTDO Next at ATD23. ATD’s TD leader consortiums host these exclusive events. Learn more about these communities and how you can get involved here.
We are excited to unveil this new conference experience for TD leaders, and we hope you’ll join us in San Diego! Find more resources for your professional development at Talent Development Leader, including content that fosters and promotes your thought leadership, a community that progresses with your career, and capabilities backed by ATD’s Capability Model that will keep you on the leading edge of the field.
