On his trip to Louisiana from Singapore: It was a long trip, but worth it. I spent about 18 hours on the flight—thirteen hours and then another five-hour flight. Very worth it.

On why he’s attending his first ATD International Conference & EXPO: I’m in the talent and development space because I’m a speaker, coach, and trainer myself. So, I wanted to see what was happening on the other side of the world in terms of what was progressing and how I could bring some of the practices back home.

On his experience thus far: It’s been very enriching because I’m hearing a lot of different perspectives. Some of the things, I’ve had an inkling of—but coming here validated that information for me.

On what he’s looking forward to: Making more genuine connections along the way. Getting to know more people. Hoping to bring some people back to Singapore so we can see how we can make some partnerships.
