Hello Everyone!

First, a little bit about me…

I’ve spent the last 12 years in the nonprofit sector, developing and marketing professional development programs for the adult learner. I’ve worked across multiple industries, including health care, commercial real-estate, foodservice, and broadcast media. My specialties include educational planning, PR/marketing, and project management.

My career path has been challenging, rewarding, and energizing to say the least. I’ve had the opportunity to serve a few wonderful companies along my way: The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the _National Association of Broadcasters Education Foun_dation (NABEF).

Currently, and in my spare time, I function as president and spokesperson for the Alliance for Women in Media, National Capital Area Chapter (AWM-NCAC) in Washington, D.C. In this role, my mission is to connect, engage, and empower media professionals through professional development initiatives.

I have similar goals for the L&D Community of Practice. I want to continue enriching this community with the tools and resources needed to perform optimally at what you love to do. After all, trainers make the world go ‘round!
