Ready yourself with the necessary skills for now and the future with ATD’s Handbook for Training and Talent Development, 3rd. edition.
The talent development field is broad and ever-changing. In the past two years alone, we have seen numerous changes and advancements. It’s truly an exciting time to be in the field. With those changes, talent development professionals need to focus on their skill sets for now and the future. One resource they can tap is the Handbook. Edited by Elaine Biech, CPTD, and grounded in ATD’s Talent Development Capability Model, the book offers insight from some of the biggest names in the industry as well as tools for download. It is a reference guide on an array of topics and challenges.
“If you have questions about learning science, growing your TD career, strategic partnering with core business leaders, the future of TD, or a host of other topics, pick up ATD’s Handbook for Training and Talent Development,” says Dana Alan Koch, learning scientist and team lead of Accenture’s Institute for Applied Sciences.
Join Biech and other Handbook contributors at the ATD Bookstore (West Hall B) on Tuesday, May 17, from 4–5 p.m. for the Handbook launch party and purchase a copy of the book. Dessert and coffee will be provided. Be sure to complete the Handbook trivia and turn in your answers before the launch party for a chance to win a signed copy of the book (Note: You must be present to win).
