Ahmed Anwar is a Sales Training Manager in the SAU. He earned the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD®) credential in 2023.

Why did you pursue the CPTD?

CPTD is one of the most informative and practical certifications in the field of talent development. I was looking to enhance my knowledge and skills in the TD field, and it really covered all required areas of developing a TD professional from the execution facet as well as the managing and leadership one.

What advice would you share with others considering certification?

If you are really searching for a certification that adds to your execution and management skills in the TD area, you should pursue CPTD. You should also take in consideration that it requires time and effort along with practicing to pass the exam.

How did you get into the talent development field?

Since I was a college student, I was studying with friends and teaching juniors. I have always sought to be a trainer or facilitator. When I saw the opportunity to be a part of the TD team, I took it. Since then, I am seeking to enhance my knowledge and skills.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Learning is like air; it keeps us alive. We should be learning through our whole life to stay alive.
