Talent development needs vary based on perspective. At the organization level, we might feel there is a need for ethics training. Employees, however, might see a greater need for report analysis or cost management training. The divide between what is important to the organization and what is important to the individual can contribute to less-than-positive results from talent development or training and initiatives.
