You feel more satisfied with your life when you are doing good by doing what you feel you were meant to do.

When I was a freshman in college, I struggled with choosing my major. I thought psychology was really interesting, but I have always been very practical, so I decided to major in business administration. I assumed I would have an easier time finding a job if I graduated with a degree in business. Was that a mistake! I now know that I should have chosen to study something I liked. If you enjoy doing something, it is highly likely that you are using your strengths. You excel when you use your strengths because they are built on natural talents. You also tend to spend more time doing things you like, which helps you to improve. Becoming really good at something is a much smarter way of preparing yourself for a successful career than pursuing something just because you think it will be easier to find a job.
