In an October 2005 report, Brandon Hall Research found that PowerPoint is the most popular e-learning tool on the market. At the same time, a story in the Washington Post (October 19, 2005) discussed how schools--from elementary through high school--are using iPods as a learning tool. "This is the kind of technology they (students) use for their daily lives. If schools want to reach today's learners, they can't ignore it," Don Knezek, chief executive of the International Society for Technology in Education was quoted as saying.
