I heard a new term several months ago that I believe describes me: urban Amish. The term refers to someone who does not own many of the electronic devices that have become ubiquitous in our society. Of the items on the list, a smart phone is the only one I possess. Some of you likely share my sense of awe when you stroll through an electronics department or see your family or colleagues’ technology wish list.
