The Association for Talent Development announces several new board members.

(Alexandria, VA), April 11, 2024—The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its board of directors. They will serve a three-year term on the board, 2024-2026.
Joe Garbus, global head of talent at PVH Corp., joins Alison Lands, head of strategy and partnerships at SkyHive Technologies, and Johann Laville, chief learning officer at Merck Sharp & Dohme, LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA as new ATD board members.
At PVH, Garbus is focused on bringing talent and organization development solutions to help build Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world and make PVH one of the highest performing brand groups in the sector. Prior to PVH, Garbus led talent and learning teams at Marsh McLennan, Celgene, the New York Times Company, UBS Investment Bank, the Gillette Company, and General Electric.
At SkyHive, Lands partners with diverse stakeholders across the workforce ecosystem to help provide the skills intelligence and insights necessary for skills resilience, economic growth, and value creation, including Fortune 500 employers, governments, education institutions, and impact organizations. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting, BCG, the New York State Economic Development Council, and the City of San Antonio. Prior to SkyHive, Lands led the North America Skills Transformation practice at Coursera, advising the reskilling and L&D strategies of more than 300 organizations across many sectors.
As the chief learning officer for MSD, Laville leads a global team of learning professionals who are passionate about creating and delivering learning solutions that enhance the capabilities, performance, and engagement of our employees and patients. Laville is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, teaching about strategies and techniques for developing instructional programs for performance improvement and training. Before joining MSD, he held senior positions at Comcast and Motorola Solutions.
