Determining Diversity in SBICs

For nearly 60 years, the Small Business Investment Company program, run through the U.S. Small Business Administration, has helped provide financing for high-risk small businesses that have trouble acquiring money through more traditional sources. A recent report by the Library of Congress studied the gender and racial diversity of SBICs.
