The fast food retail chain McDonald's, is into promotion of wireless Internet. McDonald's has begun a pilot program in Manhattan that offers patrons one free hour of Wi-Fi access with the purchase of any Extra Value Meal. The author has apprehensions regarding the usage of wireless Internet while one is having food. The real benefits of this offer would be in small towns and suburbs than in metropolitan areas where 30-minute dining limits are often enforced. The facility is accessible by employees also.
