Many of you might be familiar with David Allen from his 2001 book Getting Things Done. Allen speaks of the first book as providing the tools to use in guiding the implementation of Making It All Work. In other words, the first book represents the tools, and the most recent is the roadmap on which to travel while using those tools. He also suggests, appropriately so, that this guide is useful across one's entire life, both personal and at work.
