The article discusses on new hire onboarding processes as the strategic opportunity for organizations to increase retention and employee engagement, in the U.S. Organizations have to adopt an attitude to attract and retain top employees. Leverage to enthusiasm and excitement must be established. At the end of the formal orientation process, it is important that new hires to build relations quickly. Practices such as completing forms and reviewing policies and procedures which supports behavioral integration should also be part of the new hire orientation processes.
