Opening Doors, Crossing Cultures, a powerful, intriguing, inspiring, or perhaps odd idea distilled to its essential elements. In the interconnected age of globalization, less than 1 percent of Americans study abroad. One of the best ways to open one's eyes to the broader picture encompassing the world is to take eyes outside of their geographical boundaries, and this doesn't mean a spring break trip to Cancun in Mexico. This means an extended stay in a foreign culture and a foreign way of living: studying abroad. With numerous options available, if one can afford college tuition, one can find an affordable study-abroad program.
