Creators of generative artificial intelligence platform Guidde (pronounced like guide) developed it to solve their clients' common video production complaints, such as videos being too difficult to create, a dislike of using their own voices for voice-over needs, and being unskilled at video editing.

The resulting app helps businesses create how-to videos faster than current methodologies. Its features include generative AI-created, video-based training guides; AI-generated audio; a drag-and-drop video editor; text-to-voice generation; more than 100 languages and speakers; and the ability to blur sensitive information.

Guidde enables users to create videos (up to 25 on the free plan) across any app with an AI capture tool using the application's browser extension. The browser extension works like taking a video of the screen; the tool records everything you do on-screen. After you've gone through all the steps of your training video and stopped the capture tool, Guidde creates a knowledge-based article that includes the captured video with highlighted clickstream actions and visual callouts. The articles can include a step-by-step description of each moment in the video, eliminating the need for users to transcribe videos or create extra content. Then, to complete the experience, users can pick from a selection of voice-overs to narrate the video.
