Quizizz is designed to increase social learning.

If you are a learning professional, there is a good chance that you're familiar with Kahoot, an app that offers a game-like atmosphere to learning. However, you may not have heard of Quizizz.
Much like Kahoot, Quizizz is designed to increase social learning. It's particularly effective with kids, but Quizizz can be effective for all learners. Students can use a computer or mobile device to answer assigned questions and are awarded points for correct answers. It's a lot like Jeopardy, except more visual. More importantly, with Quizizz, anyone can be a winner if they simply answer a question correctly.
There is an option to either create your own game and questions or use someone else's quiz, even editing their questions. You also can use the site through screen-sharing tools such as Skype or Google Hangouts.
Here's what sets Quizizz apart from Kahoot: It gives users the option to assign questions as "homework," as opposed to solely live gameplay. Who knew outside coursework could be as engaging as a Facebook quiz to find out what kind of pizza you are?
When it comes to results, Kahoot only shows statistics for an entire group. Quizizz goes a step further, showing a complete breakdown of each question, all the way down to each person's results, allowing trainers the opportunity to provide one-on-one assistance.
