Welcome to 2018.

As you can see, TD magazine has a new cleaner design. And along with a design that I hope you think is easier to read, we have added new columns and taken away others to give you more relevant content to fulfill your wants and needs.

We retired Upward Bound, Workplace Rx, and the Long View, but we added columns that will help you in your career (Career GPS); give resources, tools, and ideas for talent development departments with small staffs and limited budgets (Success With Less); and highlight tips that you can use to more effectively do your job (Quick Tips). We listened to your feedback and are providing you content that is essential to your work.

These changes have been a year in the making and came as a result of your responses in the magazine's reader survey and conference focus group. The same quality and standards that you have come to expect with TD magazine will remain, and we will continue listening to how we can improve the content to fit your needs.

Another big change is happening in 2018. I will no longer be editor of TD. I will remain at the Association for Talent Development, but in a new role as content strategist. I will still be involved in acquiring content for this publication, but Vanessa St. Gerard, most recently the senior managing editor of TD, will take over producing the magazine. This publication is in good hands and will remain a valuable resource for you.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the new design and the new content. We are here to serve you.
