The researchers also discovered four distinct stages of e-learning maturity across all industries and company sizes. Most of the firms considered it as a business performance enhancement tool and as a means of increasing efficiency and impact. Training organizations can use the maturity model to evaluate the effectiveness of their training initiatives.
