The article reports on the result of the survey conducted by the OnPoint Consulting concerning business and industry leaders, in the U.S. The survey revealed that 49 percent of the business leaders has a gap between their organization's ability to formulate strategic vision and their effectiveness in the implementation and execution of that vision. Within the 42 percent, 64 percent lacked confidence on the company's capability to change course. Among the several industries who participated in the survey, the pharmaceutical industry performed well with the least number of leaders who think the presence of gap between vision and execution and least number of pessimists about company's ability to change course.
