When preparing to launch change initiatives, you need to understand the needs of everyone who might be affected.

Talent development professionals are taking on the role of business partner and modernizing learning to become more learner-centric and strategically aligned to current and future business needs. The starting position for many of those needs is a change initiative. Although some organizations just jump into developing technical solutions for these initiatives, many others are incorporating a systems approach and have introduced human-centered design methods to focus on the impact changes have on the people in the organization. As part of that approach, learning teams are using tools and methods from other disciplines, including information technology, organizational development, and design thinking.
