The article focuses on learning lessons from life to enhance the leadership skills. It also presents result of a research conducted by the organization Center for Creative Leadership on practicing managers which depicts that the role one plays in his private life can immensely improve his personal well-being as well as his effectiveness in the workplace. If one learns from his personal experiences then it is a great chance of his growth and development. There is a need of development of interpersonal relations for success in the workplace. Multitasking is the demand of today's business world and it means doing more work in less time. Practicing of leadership skills at a place away from the job can enhance one's ability and it is the best situation for practicing leadership potential and new skills, if he cannot practice it at his workplace. The life is full of opportunities for the development of leadership skills and what one has to do is to look for his developmental needs and honing the skills from present resources. He should decide his career and aspirations of life and should decide what skills and perspective he needs to fulfill his desires.
