The workplace is more emotionally charged than ever. Gone are the days of checking your emotions at the door. Leaders today must be prepared to field emotional challenges and use emotional data to make more informed decisions. But emotional intelligence is no longer a leader-only skill requirement. Considering the collaborative nature of work as well as remote and hybrid work environments, modern employees are just as likely to need EI in their day-to-day work.
