The article focuses on workflow learning concepts. It is believed that different professionals have different definitions for workflow learning. The author provides his own definition for workflow learning as, poly-modal learning and performance opportunities that leverage technology, social networks, collaboration, performance support, and convergence to enable a "learning surround" in conjunction with the learner's actual work flow. Workflow learning is not without its drawbacks. It won't be effective if the human processes that comprise the foundation of all work and learning are misaligned, bureaucratic, redundant, in- efficient, or in any other way broken. There are various principles of workflow learning that provide structure for it. Try to deconstruct work flow into concepts, make the learning more relevant and contextual for the final user, integrate the learning tools and systems with actual tools and systems used by the learner, make instantaneous collaborations with like clients, and integrate the learning technologies used by employees with enterprise applications. The article also presents the implementation steps and techniques.
