The article focuses on the problems related to the management of a difficult participant in an employee training program. Such participants interrupts and dominates the conversation and no one else is getting a word in edgewise, including the trainer. The author remarks that top be able to deal with such problems, one needs to depersonalize it in his or her own mind. It is possible that an inattentive participant has other things to think about that are more important. The trainer can use the person's name in an example to get his attention, or switch to a more active activity.
