Back in February, we introduced In Focus to TD magazine readers. If you missed the announcement or you're a new Association for Talent Development member, here's a brief refresher: Once per quarter, the magazine includes a section of custom content concentrating on one of four topics—training delivery, instructional design, measurement and evaluation, or learning technologies. ATD members may select the In Focus topic they want to read about in their print issue by simply going to www.td.org/mypreferences. (Any member who has not selected a topic automatically receives the training delivery issue.)

The November issue is the final In Focus issue of the year, so I figured it was a good time to make sure that readers are aware of this member benefit and also encourage you to customize the In Focus content in your magazine. Although you're limited to choosing just one topic for the print magazine, we publish the articles from all four topics online and in the ATD Publications app.

And speaking of the app, are you familiar with it? The free ATD Publications app enables you to read an interactive version of TD every month from your tablet and smartphone. Don't worry—there's no plan to eliminate the print magazine. But for those of you who prefer to read a digital version of it, we have you covered. It's all about giving you options.
