A job-training initiative included in U.S. President George W. Bush's economic stimulus package has been introduced as the Back to Work Incentive Act by legislator Jon Porter. Under the act, Personal Reemployment Accounts would be created to provide up to 3000 dollars for unemployed workers to use for job training, child care, transportation, and relocation expenses. The Personal Reemployment Accounts would be administered through local One-Stop Career Centers that would integrate employment, education, and training programs into a one-stop service for job seekers.
