The article discusses the author's assessment being the chairman of American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). His assessment includes the evolution of learning developments from discovery of learning technologies in 1990's to the use of laser disk presentation in any learning discussions. He added that this developments includes the growth projection in learning management, virtual classroom, and learning content management system. He also included the presentation and orientation of the talent continuum charts intended for additional learning guidelines.
