RiskTaking Culture Is Lacking in the US Workplace

The article discusses the findings of the study by BlessingWhite company concerning the risk taking initiatives of employees in the U.S. It reveals that 26 percent of them are encouraged to take risks, while 41 percent are never asked to do so. It also indicates that acceptance of risk taking is linked to public speaking of policies, while older employees are encouraged to do so. Furthermore, 50 percent of the employees are praised for taking risk, 35 percent are criticized and praised and 9 percent received outright criticism.
