SHORTSIGHTED CHANGES PREVENT HR FROM BECOMING TRUE ASSET

The article provides information on a survey of human resource (HR) planning conducted by Deloitte Consulting LLP in the U.S. According to the survey, more than 84% of 150 global companies are revamping their HR functions, but many of them are missing an opportunity to build value and create the department an integral part of the company's business strategy. The survey showed that revamping HR is still about savings, systems, and processes, despite increasing demands for the HR department to meet the challenges of a progressively competitive business environment.
