Talent Development Can Spark Innovation

Steve Jobs once said that "innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower." History shows us that innovation in products, services, work processes, management, and more drives competitive advantage and business success. Recognizing this, the Association for Talent Development and the Institute for Corporate Productivity recently published the report Advancing Innovation: High-Performance Strategies for Talent Development. ATD and i4cp surveyed 393 talent development leaders across a broad range of industries and locations, seeking to understand the talent development function's role in teaching and encouraging employees to innovate at successful companies.
