The article discusses the employee training program conducted by Schwan Food Co. Recently, it has expanded its on-board program for new customer service managers in its home delivery business. The program in its expanded structure includes structured on-the-job training and certification, coupled with a 3.5-day classroom experience. Apart from this Schwan has also launched two new development programs. The programs involve both classroom and on-the-job training. It has also offered a program in the manufacturing division. The program was designed to provide important knowledge and skills in both personal and professional lives of the employees.
