Visa Squabble Employers making a push for visa expansion

The article discusses the development proposal to expand working Visa for foreign workers in the U.S. to supply the demand of employers of skilled foreign workers especially in technology and science industry. It highlights on the issue federal H-1B visa program administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and employer permission to hire nonimmigrant foreign laborers. Accordingly, the demand of foreign workers had been surging since 2007 especially in science and technology industry including Microsoft Corp. One of the proponents of visa expansion, Microsoft Corp. founder Bill Gates, said present limits of the visa hinders the organization to globally compete as it lacks more skilled workers.
