This article focuses on a survey related to the personal use of the Internet in the workplace in the U.S. The survey was conducted in March 2006. According to Hudson North America, an outsourcing and talent management solutions provider, about 23 percent of the employees in the country who use a computer at work admit that they have searched for a new job at their office. The survey also revealed that three out of ten employees send and receive personal e-mails at work on most days. According to Kris Rzepkowski, interactive manager of Hudson, attentive managers play an important role in shaping workplace behavior.
