Ninety-six percent of respondents to the survey reported performance management as their number 1 concern. According to the survey, fewer than 12 percent of human resource executives and technology managers believe their organizations have successfully aligned the workforce with the company's business performance goals. But respondents recognize the need for a strong link between training, knowledge, and performance, and are aware of the current lack of understanding of skills and abilities in their organizations.
