In this session, you will learn how to identify the skills and types of talent needed to support your chapter and ongoing activities before building a detailed recruiting plan. This session will include topics for discussion and avenues for recruitment to ensure a diverse and engaged board. You will learn what it takes to build board engagement before creating a handoff plan as boards switch over from one year to the next, including setting expectations and building accountability. Finally, you will create a strategic plan, so the new board can build on the current board's momentum and move forward toward a strong future.
