Defining Behavioral Outcomes

Every learning initiative should start with the outcomes the sponsor wants to achieve, outcomes that will drive organizational performance. Instructional designers use the results of a needs assessment to identify and define learning and behavior outcome statements. Once these are defined, instructional designers can write specific learning objectives that state what learners will be able to do after a learning event to achieve these outcomes. In this course, you will learn the importance of outcomes and how to work with your sponsor to define them.
