Variety is the key to engaging employees with blended learning.

You've heard the term blended learning quite a bit, I'm sure. L&D professionals use the term to describe learning experiences where the learner engages with multiple delivery modalities. For example, a learner may read an article, then discuss the article in a virtual class, watch a short video after class, and then participate in a related game or group project. That approach enables learners to actively engage with content in a variety of ways, which in many cases leads to greater understanding and retention of the topic.
