Not only does the author explain the benefits of contemporary leadership strategies, she offers readers tips for abandoning old-school leadership behaviors that aren't a match for the future of work.
The Big Book of HR

In many organizations, it's not uncommon for talent development practitioners to have some working relationship with HR. This book is a great resource that L&D professionals can turn to for quick primers on all things related to HR. For this 10th anniversary edition, the authors have added new topics on pay equity and transparency; the challenges of remote and distributed workforces; and diversity, equity, and inclusion. They also address several L&D topics; five chapters explore employee development. This book won't answer all of your questions on any given topic, but it is a starting point.
