If you are an instructional designer or trainer and want to engage in a bigger conversation on instructional design, Kristin Anthony may have a solution for you. In the Dear Instructional Designer podcast, she helps designers of all experience levels by interviewing thought leaders within the industry.
The podcast, dubbed as "the show about the instructional design journey," launched in April 2016 and now runs on a roughly biweekly basis. Season 4 is focused on the freelance instructional designer experience. Listeners can hear the stories of freelancers at every stage of their journey.
In Episode 56, for example, Anthony converses with Wes Atkinson, co-founder and lead technical consultant at Appitierre (the maker of the Evolve authoring tool and the Bloom learning management system) about using Evolve as a potential tool. They had also previously discussed the challenges of freelancing as an instructional designer.
