Job Expectations Are Unclear to Many Employees

What do you do? It's a simple question, but one that many employees can't easily answer. According to research from Gallup, only half of employees strongly agree that they understand what's expected of them at work. And although fingers are quick to point at managers for neglecting to clarify employees' job responsibilities and expectations, the research also shows that managers are equally at a loss to explain their own jobs.
