The path to grabbing control of your career isn't always a straight one. With the Squiggly Careers podcast, Amazing If founders Sarah Ellis and Helen Tupper have taken the concept of career development and produced more than 300 episodes based on practical ideas, actions, hints, and tips that can help you overcome self-confidence issues to discover your professional strengths.
Amazing If is a coaching and training company whose mission is "making careers better for everyone." Ellis and Tupper have parlayed that thinking into their podcast, which has more than 2 million downloads. More than 1.5 million people have watched the duo's TEDx Talk, "The Best Career Path Isn't Always a Straight Line"—the title reveals the reason their podcast is called Squiggly Careers.
In the weekly podcast, the cohosts cover topics to help you gain control, such as managing your stress and overcoming what they call "confidence gremlins." Ellis and Tupper also interview a guest once per month. Previously, they've spoken to entrepreneur and philanthropist Stephanie Shirley, The Joy of Work author Bruce Daisley, and neuroscience expert Amy Brann.
