Microlearning—defined as learning that occurs in bite-sized chunks that are less than 15 minutes—is a hot topic in talent development, and for good reason. With a plethora of competing distractions and shrinking attention spans, attracting and keeping employee attention has never been more difficult. Microlearning, then, enables employees to fit learning into their schedules when it works best for them. Indeed, microlearning seems to be a promising solution for employee learning.
