Over the years, Paysafe has been part of several strategic acquisitions that have contributed to its ongoing rise and growth in the financial technology industry. Of several mergers that have occurred, an acquisition the company completed in 2016 had a significant impact on the organization. After that acquisition, Paysafe expanded into additional regions and doubled to 1,800 employees in Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Gibraltar, India, the UK, and the US.
