About
Melissa Griffin is the assistant director of education and training at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). Griffin has an extensive background in the areas of corporate training, instructional design, organizational development, and team management. She has managed multiple teams with various functions, most recently overseeing training and internal communications for more than 20 years at a money management firm prior to joining the NAIC in January 2017.
Griffin holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Baker University and a master training certification with an emphasis in training management from Langevin Learning Services. She is also a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) and is Remote Workforce Manager Certified.
